The terms covering use of Auburn Lock & Car Keys services and website.
Effective Date: May 17, 2026
By engaging Auburn Lock & Car Keys ("we," "our," "us") for locksmith services or using our website (auburnlocks.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree, please don't use our services.
We provide residential, automotive, and commercial locksmith services including but not limited to: lockouts, key replacement and duplication, lock rekeying, lock repair and replacement, smart lock installation, master key systems, access control, and emergency response throughout King and Pierce counties, Washington.
We provide flat-rate quotes over the phone before dispatch. These quotes include the service work and any applicable mileage adjustments based on your location. The quoted price will be the price charged barring unusual circumstances (additional unforeseen damage requiring additional work, customer requesting additional services beyond the initial quote, etc.), which will be discussed before any additional work begins.
Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Commercial clients with service contracts may have Net-30 billing arrangements.
When requesting locksmith services, you represent and warrant that:
We reserve the right to decline service if we cannot verify your authority, or if requested service would violate applicable law.
We warrant our workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of service. Hardware we install carries the manufacturer's warranty. If our work fails within the warranty period through no fault of yours (normal wear and use), we'll return at no charge to correct the issue. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, alteration, accident, or unauthorized service by others.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages. This includes (without limitation) loss of property or contents through theft following our service, loss of business income, or other indirect damages. We use professional non-destructive techniques whenever possible; in rare cases (e.g. high-security locks resistant to non-destructive entry), destructive entry may be necessary. We discuss this with you before proceeding.
You may cancel service before the tech is dispatched at no charge. Once a tech has been dispatched and is en route, cancellation may incur a small service call fee covering travel time. For scheduled non-emergency services, please give us as much notice as possible.
